Beauty Lab Policies

  • A non-refundable deposit is required in order to book microblading appointments. This deposit is to ensure that the appointment time is secured. We require 72 hours notice for rescheduling or cancelling your Microblading appointment.

  • 24 hours notice must be given to reschedule or cancel eyelash, eyebrow (excluding microblading), and waxing appointments to avoid a charge of 50% of the listed service price to the card on file.

  • You must arrive on time to your appointment. Tardiness exceeding 10 minutes may result in the forfeiture of your deposit, or application of 50% cancellation fee, respectively. A new deposit will be required to re-book any appointments cancelled for lateness.

  • Upon entering the building, please turn your phone to silent to avoid disturbing your artist and other guests.

  • Pictures and videos may be taken during your procedure for reference that shall be used by Beauty Lab for marketing on social media sites and their webpage. We do not allow client filming at any one point during the appointment without prior negotiation.

  • No refunds are given for services rendered. No exceptions.

  • If you have any concerns about possible allergic reactions, please book a patch test appointment before scheduling your service.

Microblading Policies

  • Microblading is a 2-step process and for best results, clients will be required to return for at least one touch-up appointment which must be performed within 6-8 weeks after the initial procedure.

  • Although numbing products are used during the procedure to keep you comfortable, slight sensitivity or discomfort may still be felt by some clients. If you have an allergy to topical numbing products, the service can be provided without them.

  • Delicate or sensitive skin may be red and/or swollen after the procedure. Please plan social events around your procedure accordingly.

  • Microblading can be done over an existing brow tattoo, however the old tattoo must be significantly faded for the hair strokes to show through and look natural. If you currently have microblading or permanent makeup from another artist, we cannot guarantee a successful procedure and ask you to please *email* a clear, well-lit, recent photograph of your eyebrows and wait for our ‘okay’ before scheduling an appointment. In some cases where the previous work is too dark, dense, discolored, or large, tattoo removal will be recommended before your appointment with us. Previously tattooed areas and cover-ups will almost always require additional appointments for best results and will be charged accordingly.

  • You may wear your normal brow make-up to Beauty Lab on the day of your procedure so that we might better understand your preferred outcome.

  • Individual results may vary due to skin type, general health, and proper adherence to the aftercare protocol. No guarantees can be made, and additional sessions may be required to obtain optimal results. Additional charges will apply.

Eyelash Service Policies

  • Clients must arrive with clean, makeup free lashes. Any eye makeup, or remnants thereof will prevent a secure bond for Extensions, and an inability to properly penetrate the lashes for a Lift. If you come to your appointment with debris on your eyelashes, a portion of your total appointment time will be deducted for pre-treatment-cleansing and may result in sub-par results.

  • Do not curl your eyelashes or wear waterproof cosmetics for a minimum of 3 days prior to your service. Waterproof products are drying and leave a waxy barrier on the lashes regardless of how well they are washed.

  • Avoid caffeinated beverages (coffee, tea, soda, energy drinks) before your appointment, as this makes it quite difficult for the artist to do their job. Enjoy the opportunity to take a few moments of your day to comfortably relax and be pampered.
